February Favorites // 2017

Can you believe that February is over already?! It seriously feels like we were just celebrating New Years last week! But, February was full of wonderful goodies that I couldn’t get enough of and I can’t wait to share them with you.

This e.l.f. liquid eyeliner has been my go-to this past month for my wings and it has not let me down! It is so affordable and I think if you’re trying to get into liquid liners, start with this one before dishing out a lot of money on something higher end. It doesn’t budge of transfer under your eyes and the applicator is small enough for a precise wing!

This Anastasia Beverly Hill’s liquid lipstick in the shade Crush is my new favorite lipstick, I wear it every day! I had tried another one of their more mauve shades and loved it and this one has not disappointed me either. They last all day long and don’t dry out your lips as much as other liquid lipsticks do I can’t wait to expand my collection and get even more of these fantastic liquid lipsticks!

For concealers, Tarte’s Shape Tape has been a dream! I swear this concealer masks any dark circle or blemish that you have, I can’t say enough good things about it.

This dry shampoo though!! I have never used a dry shampoo before and now I can’t get enough of it! This Batiste  dry shampoo has the best scent and it makes an oily hair day into a fantastic hair day.

The Coco Contour Palette by TooFaced is so freaking amazing I can’t put it into words! The highlighters are gorgeous and the lighter contour shade is perfect for someone who’s insanely pale like myself! The brush that comes with it helps make contouring a breeze and above all else, the whole palette smells like chocolate, there’s nothing that could make it better!

So for blush and highlighter I have been loving this Milani powder blush in the shade Romantic Rose. This is such a natural color that brings such a lovely color to your cheeks! For highlighter I’ve been digging Aspyn Ovard’s collaboration with Pixi beauty in the shade London Lustre. The pigmentation is great and it’s such a nice glow to my cheek bones.

Non-Beauty Favorites:

Favorite Book:

If you’re about gender equality and want to get more informed on the cause of feminism this is definitely the book for you! Roxane is so real in her writing style and I could not put this book down all month.

Favorite Place:

Atomic coffee is my new favorite coffee shop! It’s located in downtown Royal Oak, Michigan and I go there way too often, this is already my second punch card! Their White Chocolate Mocha is insanely good and the atmosphere there is perfect for studying.

Favorite Moment:

My favorite memory this month was hands down the retreat I went on with the youth group I lead at my church! We went up north to worship Jesus and bond and it was such a moving experience (two of our girls even got baptized!). The Lord was truly working through my co-leaders and I as we led our 6th grade girls towards Him and I can’t wait to do it again next year!
